With smart storage solutions, you can transform a chaotic space into a vibrant haven of fun and creativity. Here, we present the top 10 Amazon must-haves for children's bedroom organisation that will make tidying up easy and enjoyable!

1. Ottoman Bed with Storage Underneath for the Ultimate Organised Children's Bedroom

An ottoman bed is a fantastic addition to any child's bedroom. It not only offers a comfortable sleeping area but also features a spacious storage compartment underneath. This hidden space is perfect for stashing extra bedding, toys, or out-of-season clothing.

Imagine how much easier bedtime will be when everything has its own spot! With over 70% of parents reporting that organised spaces help their kids unwind better before sleep, an ottoman bed can be a game changer. Plus, its stylish design enhances the overall aesthetic of the room.

2. Under Bed Storage Boxes

Maximising the space under your child's bed with storage boxes is a smart move. These boxes fit perfectly under most beds and ottoman beds, making them ideal for keeping toys, clothes, and other items neatly stored away.

Opt for clear boxes for easy visibility, or choose colourful ones to add a fun element to the room. According to a survey, 68% of children can access their belongings more easily when stored in transparent containers, making clean-up time quick and efficient!

3. Toy Bins for Organising Small Toys and Legos

Toy bins are essential for managing small toys, Legos, and other play items. Look for bins that are stackable and come in various sizes to accommodate different types of toys.

Labelling each bin can foster a sense of responsibility in your child, helping them understand where things belong. In fact, children who use labelled storage tend to maintain their spaces 40% more effectively than those who do not.

4. Zip Pouches for Puzzles

Puzzles can be a delightful activity for children, but they often become scattered if not stored properly. Durable zip pouches offer a neat solution to keep all the pieces organized.

Look for pouches that are easy for small hands to open, allowing your child quick access to their puzzles. Easily stored on shelves or in toy bins, these pouches make clean-up as simple as one zip.

5. Shelves for Display and Storage

Shelves serve a dual purpose in a child's room by providing space for both display and storage. They can hold books, toys, and even art projects.

Adjustable shelves are particularly handy as they can grow with your child's changing needs. Encourage your child to curate their displays, as studies show this can enhance creativity and ownership over their personal space.

6. Peg Boards and Hooks

Peg boards and hooks create customisable storage solutions for various items. They can be used to hang bags, hats, or even art supplies, making them easily accessible.

This organisation not only saves space but also adds a playful, creative touch to the room. Children can rearrange items as they wish, making it a dynamic part of their bedroom—great for kids who want a little independence when arranging their bedroom. A recent study found that visually appealing spaces inspire kids to play more.

7. Collapsible Storage Baskets for Soft Toys

Soft toys can quickly take over a child's room, but collapsible storage baskets offer a chic solution. These baskets are easy to fold away when not in use, saving valuable space.

Choosing baskets in fun patterns or colours that match the room's decor can make organising feel like part of the design. Your child will love knowing exactly where their soft toys go, making clean-up a breeze.

8. Toy Storage Bags

Toy storage bags are ideal for organising larger toys. They can hold everything from stuffed animals to building blocks.

Consider bags that are lightweight and portable, allowing your child to move their toys from one room to another easily. This promotes flexibility in playtime and makes post-play clean-up much more manageable.

9. A4 Sized Hard Shell Casing Storage Organiser for Board Games

Board games are a family favourite but can take up significant space. An A4 sized hard shell casing storage organiser is perfect for keeping these games neat and tidy.

These organisers not only protect games from damage, but they also make stacking them on shelves easy. Having a designated spot for games encourages family game nights, which 63% of parents say enhance family bonding.

10. A3 Sized Zip Wallets for Artwork and Craft Supplies

Encourage your child's creativity with A3 sized zip wallets for storing artwork and craft supplies. These wallets keep drawings, paintings, and materials organised and protected.

Available in various colours and designs, your child can select their favourite wallet, making it a fun addition to their room. Keeping their creative space organised inspires them to explore their artistic side.

I love the idea of under bed storage boxes for the kids toys. It's hard to keep everything tidy in a small room but I'll invest in some bright colourful boxes to make the room look funky but tidy. Thanks for the tip.

I've always had under-bed storage boxes but they can sometimes look a bit messy. Now I've got both my kids ottoman beds. Wow they now have loads more space! If you can afford get it it's a great investment. 👍
